More awesome news, except not.

Fernando: Fuck Off
I know I'm supposed to be on hiatus, but ... SHITFUCK.

I guess that settles it then. ("mulling the best choice" my arse. They're just trying to get people used to the idea before they drop the bomb, ffs.) I guess that concludes my business with Ferrari.

(I wonder how the situation would look like if Massa hadn't been hurt. Kimi's just scored four podiums in a row, who knows if Massa had been better. But, obviously, they can't fire the invalid.)

If they dump Kimi on any team but McLaren or Brawn (Red Bull at the most), THERE WILL BE BLOOD. SPILLED BY A FANGIRL SCORNED, LIKE WHICH FURY HELL HATH NO.

*sulks*

Also, Roman law still sucks. I might be using this to went my general displeasure.

GP of Valencia

Kimi: Keysmash! [pissed off]
I managed to watch all of 50 minutes of the race - because these fucking trains coming from Croatia ARE ALWAYS LATE. AAAALWAYS. Then I had to run to work, missed the checkered flag and arrived in time to catch the winner's last pc words on the TV in the lobby. :|

And I can't believe there was a spoiler ) podium and I WAS NOT THERE TO WATCH IT. I'm at work with no work to do now, and I have missed THIS )

Gaaaaaargh.

:|

Anyway, don't think I missed much else - seems like Valencia can only be made exciting by a certain Pit Stop Fail XD

PS: Only 6 scheduled check-ins for me today - bad for the bosses, bliss for me!!
Luffy: blink [wtf] [confused]
Y halo thar, elljayland.

Am back from Berlin and had a fabulous time, which you might hear more about or you might not, but let me tell you, caipirinhas were involved. Also Ozztralians. And a very cute, very young, very drunk Frenchman (who was very much into me. Damn the very young part there!).

I have just survived the Train Ride From HELL, which involved a broken engine and me therefore being half an hour late for work and arriving with my Berlin luggage (I was home-home after Berlin). Not the way I wanted to come back, but hey. It's a veeery slow day anyway, almost no arrivals - that's how I like my work best, non-existent :D

Also, I'm still deciding Spa-yes or Spa-no. Will definitely decide tomorrow, because I'm planning on asking my Dad if he wants to join me. Which he won't I'm pretty sure, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I'd love to go somewhere with him, but his CT is scheduled for the day after we'd come back, so idk...

That's it for the moment, people - what did I miss? Feel free to point me towards posts, I didn't get a chance to catch up on the flist.

Artsy: Patriot!
Yet again, I planned to post ages ago... I'm getting so lazy, it's unbelievable :)

So, news:

0001. I have a job! And it's here!
I'll be a receptionist from July 1st to Sept 13th (only 3 or 4 shifts per week, though). The two 'bosses' are both in their twenties and totally awesome, definitely my best job interview ever - which was, BTW, at 8.30 pm in a cafe XD I'm actually really looking forward to it - speaking English half of the time, giving Americans tourist tips, explaining how to work our water taps to Japanese (don't ask. It's what the bosses told me.) ... YAY!

0010. Other summer plans: Uhm ... uni, uni and uni. I have a bit of a deficit, so I'm taking one criminal law course I should've done this semester and two courses as preparation for my exam in October. God bless summer uni. But! All indications are that I'll be going to the GP of Hungary again! YAY HUNGARORING, baby, I missed you so last year!

0011. I did buy The Sims 3, and guess what my first random default Sim looked like. I don't know about you, but imo she kinda has a famous face. Scary! O_O

0100. Awesome book is awesome so I think you should all read it. It's YA urban fantasy (yeah, not my cup of tea either, normally) but it's still awesome (mostly because [info]sarahtales, the author, writes so well). You can read the first chapter here! (And it's not about some kind of demon's book, if that's what you're worried about. The title is so clever that it took me 2 days to figure it out!)

0101. Okay, the weather is really yucky. It's rainy and wet and rainy and also, it rains. Did I mention the rain? Half of Austria is drowning. And as we all know (ha, ha) the weather on Saturday will determine the weather for the next 7 weeks!

0110. A not-short summary of my F1!twitter this weekend )

0111. I need to go study now... Meh. I have two exams this week (Study of Literatures and Study of Language) and one next week (Language Analysis). The upside: A big part of the Literature exam is Lady Windermere's Fan - which my school drama group did in 2005 :D Ladies and Gentlement, meet the former Mr. Cecil Graham/Mr. Dumby (uhm ... we had a chronic lack of boys in the group.)

Have a good week, everyone!

Kimi: head hurt [stressed]
I did not think they would go there. Honestly. I mean, not that this means they are ultimately going there ... I'll stop talking now. Let me just say that I think it's ludicrous to believe that there will be two F1s next year. Or one Formula One and one ... FOTA One, or whatever.

Also, I don't want more new teams, because I don't want the Superfund one. Because Alex has to stay on as commentator. Because he's the light of my life etc ad nauseam, and I shall kidnap him and keep him in my closet for personal commentary otherwise.

It's a pity that ReTweets aren't for EllJay, but I'll do it anyway, because there's nothing else to say really:

Kimi Picspam for Instant Endorphines!

Kimi: Reasons animated
I came so, so close to booking a flight to London for August or whatever. Because it's so cheap (€60 incl return flight) and I long for this city and ... yeah. Only that I don't really have someone to travel with me and I'm not sure I could afford the rest and it's better this way.

So after a really crappy day because my digestions was going crazy for no apparent reason. I even had real pasta yesterday! :| I needed some Happy. So, have a little picspam!

15 Minutes of Prettiness Without a Fugly Cap, or Kimi and the Monaco Podium )

Take some Happy too if you need it! Works for me. Sometimes I just like looking at him :)

Note I.: Going home for Whitsun tomorrow. Even though I really want to be in Prague, where the Lord of the Rings Symphony is playing...

Note II.: Spent €327,- yesterday. But on a good thing - a dishwasher!! By this time next week we will have a dishwasher again!! :D

Note III.: I shouldn't have watched Private Practice. Because I hate cliffhangers, and I can't decide if this one in the finale was even bigger than the one in the Grey's Anatomy finale. Aaaaaargh!! Why am I addicted to these TV shows?

Kimi: Reasons animated
Hello flist, I am back (as my twitter peeps know already)!

Would've posted sooner, but I think I kind of passed out around 6. You know, was watching Phantom of the Opera, drinking tea, clothed, and one moment later I'm being woken up by my Mum calling, am missing 6 hours and in my pjs. O_o I don't even know.

0001. EXAM = PASSED THANK GOD. And I was so bad. So, so bad. I mean, I guess it was mostly the questions I got that were horrible, because srsly, I could've answered everything he asked the girl before me, but mine were made of utter fail. I've never talked as badly as today (cuz normally I'm good at that). I have no idea how it was enough for a C, but I'm ecstatic!

0010. However, this ) is how I feel atm. Nausea started some 26 hours ago (and believe me, it wasn't the nervous kind.) and I've eaten nothing but one small bread roll this morning since then. Am basically living off tea. [info]zeraparker, [info]fanged_angel and I have decided on twitter that we obviously all have the swine flu. (Which feels curiously like a stomach flu in my case). So anyway, that combined with not getting much sleep due to studying probably explains the passing out.

0011. Need to start studying for my English exams soon.

0100. Gossip Girl 02x22 )

0101. Kimi @ teh ice hockey in the only pair of jeans he owns this week. He did that waving thing when the cameras turned on him (kind of surprising, methinks) :D Here be the video to go with it ) Just found that squeeful.

0110. Stolen from [info]hanna23: CREEPY MONTEZEMOLO IS CREEPY ) Get your hands off my boys, pervy old man! >:O

0111. Might go home tomorrow, my flatmate's Mum is here, and she's going home with her for the weekend. Would mean I have a free ride...

1000. There is something positive about stomach flu: Instantaneous weight loss XD
Fits right in with the diet I'm planning on starting. A self-designed one, I should mention, and one where chocolate is allowed. Otherwise I wouldn't do it - hello, you can't take away my staple food!? More on that later. Am tired, and feeling queasy again :|

1001. Finally got more user pic space, so I uploaded a bunch of new icons! *squee* Yeah, that one is still ugly. If you know how to make an animated icon without quality loss, I would love you FOREVER.
There also isn't much I wouldn't do to be able to use this icon ) but it exceeds the maximum file size by a lot.

Okay, so twitter copntinues to be awesome, Alex Wurz is still the love of my life, and this race was hilarious. Not a bad Palm Sunday - also, I'm going home for the Easter Holidays this afternoon *g*

Kimi: dorky/adorable
a) Slept through the practice today, and promptly Kimi is fastest. O_o

b) Two of our friends are here for the weekend! Will get a bit crowded, what with the lodger still here until tomorrow, but he'll be gone after that. Doesn't exactly break my heart to see him go. Him and his weird smelling food in our fridge.

c) Went running yesterday, because it was the first really warm spring day! Running! And the world is still spinning on its axis, lol. Went to Schönbrunn Palace from here and then spent half an hour there sunbathing. As a result, I have both stiff muscles and a sunburn, but YAY, seems like spring is here to stay!

d) Have my entry for [info]adiml_4_adults's Something Old/New/Borrowed/Blue Challenge. It's only visible for members though, so I'm reposting it here )

e) I'm baking Sachertorte :) It's my Mum's special recipe, and it looks yummy so far.

Chace Crawford, Zac Efron, Ian Somerhalder and Chris Pine - SEPARATED AT BIRTH Y/Y? )

Look, I don't even know who these Ian and Chris guys are, but honestly, it's crazy. Especially with Chace and that Efron person. Coincidentally, none of them appeal to me in any way.

Very successful visit to IKEA today, and I now have a shelf to assemble. Once I have tidied and cleaned up my room - expect that sometime during the next few months >.<

Besides this testing task, life's being very kind to me atm: Only 3 more uni days before the Easter holidays, no more tests until then, two friends from Graz coming to visit on Friday ... if there wasn't the prospect of my law history exam in a month and the 4 English ones a week after that, I would be suspicious *g*

Also, I've been steering clear of F1 sites and articles, for the sake of my mental health. As it is, I'm quite looking forward to Malaysia.

I iz tired. But I can haz tomato-parmesan bagel, so iz good. Om nom nom.

God, Norbert Haug, cut the self-adulation just because the Brawnies are using your engines. I doubt that's why they are 1-2.

cut for spoilers )

Wow, that was a 2-hour aneurism if I've ever seen one. Thank God for the guy who won (just to spoiler no-one), otherwise this race was so totally made of fail.

I NEEDS RELAXATION NAO. A bubble bath. Cake. Possibly someone to rub my back and stroke my hair a bit. Also no uni thoughts. Uhm ... right.

Whee it's back!

Damn, those Brawn cars are ugly. Mostly the colours - white and neon yellow? Urgh.

Wow, the cars look really cleaned up. I never really pay any attention to pics of cars during the winter break, because honestly, they all look the same to me until I see them in action.

Oh Hai Kimi good to seez u again :)

Did that DSF commentator really just call the Brawn team "the Brownies"...? O_o

LOL, apparently the McLaren looks like the Batmobile. Hokay...

You know, I get that Kimi has lost weight. He's not the only one. So why does that commentator keep positively drooling over Kimi's body? ;D

"Ferrari der Reifenflüsterer" Hee hee.

Man, that Toyota with the holey nose is ugly too.

Hmm, let's see what's become of the Austrian coverage, now that our legendary commentator has retired. :| At least we still have Alex Wurz.

w00t, we really do have Alex! Last year he was only commentating during the race, now he's there even for the Practice! Man I love this guy.

"It's like the wild west down there." OH ALEX ILU

Aw Sebi, tired of working already? :)

Okay, Kimi, my nerves would really appreciate it if you could, you know, do better than 20th any time soon? <_< Okay, guys, gossiping about Barrichello's girlfriends, past and present, on air? Rock on :D Okay, Alex is definitely useful for translating the unintelligible team radio when I only hear "frrrp vroom fwmp swoosh static crack"... Well, that wasn't so thrilling, but Alex says the Ferraris haven't been going for speed now, so it's okay :)

IT'S MELBOURNE TIME and THERE IS HAIR!! Miraculously, the annual spring shave has not happened yet, thank God :D
Unfortunately, not all drivers seem to have gotten my 'DO NOT SHAVE IF YOU TREASURE YOUR LIFE' memo. *wrinkles nose at naughty Sebi*

Though the boy is kind of being eaten by that cap, he's all smiles ... pretty!
(Dear Ferrari: Plz to be losing the new team gear designer. It's a miracle to get something as basic as a cap that wrong. Love, Me. PS: Stealing Kimi's caps for the rest of the season so he has to show the world his hair will do too.)

And damn, he's lost weight. I mean, honestly, at this rate half the grid will disappear. Uhm, if there's one thing to be learned from DC's biography, it's probably that bulimia is not so much fun...

He's obviously still as thrilled to do press work as ever. But it gets worse: The poor boy has to sit through Massa's flatulences the whole time. XD

Meanwhile, Lewser Hamilton visits victims of Australian bush fires. ...have those people not suffered enough?

That's it for the moment, off to get 3 hours of sleep or so and then study for my law history test tomorrow afternoon...

The weather for Vienna, Austria today, brought to you by randomizemylife networks:

Morning: Snow, sunshine, drizzling
Noon: Tiny frozen ice flakes, sunshine, rain, sunshine, towering dark clouds
Evening: Half-frozen drizzling, clear skies, snow, THUNDERSTORM LIKE WHOA, more snow
Hurricane force winds throughout the day, wind chill factor that will blow your mind

We hope you have had a nice day. We'd recommend hiding in the basement for the next two weeks, as no-one can be sure, at this point, what Mother Nature decides to whip up next.

I mean, SERIOUSLY, it's still March! Isn't the weird weather supposed to wait till April?

That said, I am happily watching life fly by atm. Increasing blogging activity may be expected towards the end of the week, when OMG F1 WILL FINALLY BE BACK!!

You excited, flist? :D
Jenson: Hungary [crushed]
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I have just heard that Heinz Prüller - Austria's Murray Walker, you could say - is not coming back as an F1 commentator this year! After 43 years and 650 GPs, he's literally letting us choose between plague and cholera - some football hooligan replacement on Austrian TV or the insufferable Germans on RTL.

I mean, okay, so he's 67 years old and stuff, BUT HOW CAN HE DO THIS TO MEEEEEE??? He is a legend, both when he's commenting alone and talking utter BS and when he's doing it with Alex Wurz, their chemistry was just right!

...Oh god, I hope they're not taking Alex away from us, too. If so, I shall watch races in mute from now on. Or dip a toe into the scary world of online streaming.

I'm sorry, I am just too shocked, I think I have need of my smelling salts, I may faint at any moment...

HEEEEEEEIIIIIIINZ! STAY! PWEASE!! ;_;
